UPRise
Logo Design
A logo that merges geography with ambition. That’s what we built for UPRise Summit—a forward-looking growth conference for Uttar Pradesh. The name itself was a statement. The identity made sure it looked the part.
UPRise wasn’t just a summit name. It was a call to action.
Framed as a platform for progress, innovation, and inclusive growth in Uttar Pradesh, the summit needed a visual identity that could balance local pride with global perspective. Something culturally rooted, yet distinctly modern.
We crafted a logo that’s as bold in idea as it is in execution.
‘प’ + Flipped ‘R’
At the heart of the identity lies a typographic innovation—a fusion of the Hindi letter ‘प’ with a reversed English ‘R’. Together, they spell “UPRise” in a way that’s layered, smart, and unmistakably cultural.
Cultural Fusion
By blending Devanagari and Latin scripts, the logo becomes more than a wordmark—it becomes a statement on India’s multilingual, multicultural future.
Orange Hue
Inspired by the rising sun, the orange gradient evokes hope, energy, and new beginnings. It’s the color of progress, perfectly echoing the summit’s agenda.
Minimal Sans-Serif Typeface
To counterbalance the bold central fusion, we used a clean, modern typeface—ensuring global design sensibilities while keeping the focus on clarity and accessibility.
This wasn’t just design. It was diplomacy.
We knew the logo had to speak to entrepreneurs, government stakeholders, investors, and citizens alike. So we focused on inclusivity—honoring the local script while embracing international design standards. The result is a mark that works as well on a podium as it does in a press release.
The UPRise logo rises to the occasion—literally and metaphorically.
It proves that even the most culturally specific ideas can be expressed with global polish. By embedding symbolism within simplicity, the identity becomes a beacon of what the summit stands for: upward momentum, cultural pride, and collective progress.
Let me know if you’d like a snappy title or tagline for the project page too.
